Circular Tree-Surround Seating

A circular architectural seating system designed to surround an existing tree and create a gathering point within the park.

Challenge

The site required a seating element that could integrate with an existing mature tree without disrupting the root zone or the surrounding landscape.

Solution

A custom circular bench system was developed with a radius configuration that follows the canopy edge, creating a natural gathering space around the tree.

Integrated Planter Seating

A hybrid seating and planting element designed to combine landscape and social space within a single architectural form.

12-foot circular seating system with approximately two-thirds seating and an integrated central planter.

Challenge

The project required a single element that could serve both as a planting feature and a seating destination, without appearing as two separate objects.

Solution

A unified circular form was developed that integrates the planter into the seating geometry, creating a cohesive architectural element.

Custom Radius Seating

Curved Linear Seating

Atlanta, Georgia

A custom-radius seating element fabricated to follow the curve of the surrounding landscape and pedestrian circulation.

Product

Approximately 30-foot curved seating system following the geometry of an existing sidewalk and site condition.

Challenge

Standard straight benches could not follow the arc of the pedestrian path, creating a visual and functional disconnect between the seating and the landscape.

Solution

A custom-radius bench was developed to match the exact curve of the site, integrating the seating into the pedestrian flow.
